Eithna O Sullivan    
Source Sligo Cookery School

In 1990 Eithna opened her own business Eithna’s Seafood Restaurant in Mullaghmore Co. Sligo which she ran successfully as Chef Proprietor for 16 years, featuring in many local and international travel and food guides, and the BIM Seafood Circle Award. She became synonymous with Seafood, Lobster, fresh prawns, crab and shellfish in particular, and the use of local and organic foods.

Since 2006 Eithna has furthered her career and trained as a Trainer and Facilitator in the culinary arts and Food Studies in St Angela’s college. She has worked with the Health Promotion Board, The Organic Centre, the V.E.C. Youth Reach and with Dr.Prannie Rhatigan for her cookery book ‘The Seaweed Kitchen.  

A passionate foodie Eithna has combined her love and commitment for good food, with the use of local, seasonal and organic produce in Source Sligo Cookery School. Her knowledge of local foods, producers, chefs, and ability to make people at ease and enjoy the experience help to create inspiring classes and events in Source Sligo Cookery School.
Source Sligo cookery school has state of the art equipment and facilities, in a bright  room above the main Restaurant ,Deli and Wine Bar,overlooking O’Connell Street and Benbulben. The  Classes vary from month to month &  cater for groups, individuals, parties, and those with special interests.
