Source Sligo Cookery School
This course is offered to those with a passion for food and a desire to learn and develop their interest in the catering industry.
It provides an opportunity to develop practical skills and the acquisition of related knowledge on a part-time basis.
Participants will be provided with the basic knowledge and skills with which to practice and seek employment or work experience in a variety of food businesses.
The course will introduce the basics of:
Hygiene and Safety in the Kitchen
Soups and Starters
Meat, Fish and Vegetarian
Simple Desserts and Decorating
Salads and Growing your own Vegetables
This Course will start on Tuesday October 11th
Time 9.30 to 3.00
Every Tuesday for 11 weeks ending on Tuesday 20th December
Cost €950 payable in advance
Work experience available for qualified participants.
Subject to demand a follow on course will be available January 2012
